Do WheelsInShoes Guards work for every inline skate?
They do work for every combination of wheel size and frame length, however your skates must not have break attached.
Almost always you can just remove a break and start using our system. Usually, your skates would have come with an extra axle (a shorter one) to remove a brake. If you don't have one, our shop also offers them.
What is included in the package?
A fully assembled pair of WheelsInShoes Guards.
How does the system work?
Wheel housings that grab outside wheels of inline skates have "L" shape. This allows them to push wheels into the aluminium base.
Rear wheel housing can slide along the base to and be locked to immobilize inline skates.
Will it work when my wheels get worn out?
This mechanism is able to continuously hold wheels even as they get worn out. We found that most people change their wheels when they lose about 1cm of the original diameter. It is also what our product is rated for, which provides a good balance between size and adaptability to worn out wheels.
As an example if you have wheels with out of the box diameter of 80mm, you can use our system as long as they don't wear down to less than 70mm.

- don't ever take off and put on inline skates before you have finished skating?
- avoid carrying inline skates in hands?
- or even avoid taking shoes with you?
We made an attachment that transforms inline skates into shoes and does it fast

Switching to pedestrian mode and back to skating mode takes about 7 minutes less time when using WheelsInShoes Guards instead of shoes. Most importantly, you don't even have to take off your inline skates.
Of course our system can't achieve the same stability or comfort as a typical shoes have but all men we interviewed agree that they would feel safer to walk in WheelsInShoes Guards than in high heels.
The issue is comes from how inline skates work. They limit ankle movements (which is good for skating, but not so much for walking). Our system can't fix it because it attaches onto skates. As you can't walk downstairs facing forward in inline skates, you also won't be able to do it like that in WheelsInShoes Guards. When going downstairs or exiting public transport walk sideways or backwards.
Other than that and shorter steps it is pretty similar to walking in standard shoes. Just remember that your ankle can't really bend and you are your inline skates plus 1 cm above the ground.

A skater in WheelsInshoes Guards saved about 21 minutes.
You'd put on your inline skates just in the park, wouldn't you?
Why not skate everywhere, though?
